Nepal will meet Malaysia in the vital semi-final match of ACC Trophy Elite 2012 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. Nepal topped the group B via head to head record count. Earlier, they defeated UAE in league round match on October 3. Meanwhile, Malaysia is runner up from Group A. The two sides played on various occasions but Nepal have always managed to dominate them in 50 overs cricket.
Nepal have psychological edge against Malaysia today. They came here from winning ICC World Cricket Division IV title along with the 10 wickets win over Malaysia. Previously, Nepal managed to pinch the Malaysian by 8 runs in the semi final of last edition of the same event. Malaysia is yet to defeat Nepal in 50 overs senior level cricket.
Nepali players displayed prolific skills with both bat and ball. Top and Middle order batsmen are contributing from their side. Pakistan didn't know until late on Tuesday night whether they'd have to keep their hotel reservations in Colombo for a few more days. But when South Africa's Robin Peterson gloved a ball for a single to take the score to 122 against India, a roar went around the Premadasa. It sounded as though Sri Lanka were playing, but the noise was from a legion of Pakistan fans who were celebrating their team's progress to the semi-finals on net run rate, at India's expense. There wasn't much separating the two sides, but Pakistan were better placed because they got their tactics right and won big against Australia earlier in the evening.

Sri Lanka are familiar opponents for Pakistan. The hosts were the more dominant side when Pakistan visited in June-July. Sri Lanka looked a more settled side in the Super Eights, making heavy weather of the chase against New Zealand (which culminated in a Super Over victory) and trouncing West Indies and England. | A 31-member Bangladesh National Team has just arrived at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal to take part in a friendly match series against Nepal National Team in Kathmandu. Apple is set to finally unveil its sixth generation iPhone, aka "iPhone 5," at a special media event in San Francisco Wednesday.
The Cupertino-based company has announced that the event is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. ET) at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco.
The latest round of rumors about the most anticipated features of the next generation iPhone has set the tech world on fire with Apple enthusiasts around the world going crazy about the new version of the company's flagship handset.
If rumors are to be believed, iPhone 5, or whatever Apple eventually decides to name it, will come with a larger 4-inch screen with the new in-cell touch technology. It will also likely feature a uni-body design and a new smaller 9-pin dock connector, replacing the existing 30-pin one.
Apple is also highly expected to introduce the next version of its mobile operating system, iOS 6, along with the new iPhone. As announced by the company before, iOS 6 would bring a lot of new exciting features, including the 3D mapping, native Facebook integration and many more, to the supporting hardware.
Earlier reports also suggested that iOS 6 would be pre-installed on iPhone 5 and would be completely scalable to a larger 640 x 1136 display.
Other much talked-about iPhone 5 features include a much-improved processor, 4G LTE technology, Near Field Communication (NFC), 1GB RAM, liquidmetal casing, a much-improved battery life, an 8 megapixel (or even higher) rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting.

Vincente Del Bosque has urged his Spain players to pay no attention to their past meetings with Italy as they prepare to bring the curtain down on Euro 2012 at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev.

The reigning champions are 90 minutes away from becoming the first team to defend the Henri Delauny trophy in it’s 52-year history but will have to overcome the Azzurri who they’ve failed to beat in a competitive game since their first-ever meeting in the 1920 Olympic Games.
The Iberian outfit could become the first team to win three international tournaments on the spin should they triumph in the final but Del Bosque believes that the similarities in playing style between his side and the Italians make them an extremely dangerous proposition.
He said in his pre-match press conference: “We’ve worked very hard for many years and we’d like victory to crown that work.
“We cannot look back. Italy have won the World Cup four times; we won EURO four years ago. There’s some history but we have to look to the present.
“We’ve played similar tournaments: we were in the same group and have both won on penalties. Our style of play is also very similar so there’s not a great difference between the teams.”
Italy held Spain to a 1-1 draw exactly 24 days ago in the opening match of Group C and head coach Cesare Prandelli believes their best hopes of leaving Poland and Ukraine as champions is to adopt an attacking approach.
Having dispatched tournament favourites Germany with ease in the semi-final the 54-year-old has warned his players to anticipate a very different contest against World Cup holders and will have to remain patient when they don’t have the ball and strike whilst the iron is hot once when the opportunity arises.
“I really hope we can be positive and take the game to them,” Prandelli told UEFA.com.
