According to a very reliable source, the One Direction is engaged to Perrie Edwards!
"It's official. I'm over the moon. They are really in love," says the mother of the Little Mix singer, who was spotted with a diamond ring at the London premiere of One Direction: This Is Us yesterday.
Edwards, 20, reportedly did not want to make the announcement herself at the red carpet event in order to keep the focus on Zayn and his bandmates.
But a source tells The Sun that Malik "got down on one knee" on Sunday, much to the total and complete joy of Perrie's mom, Debbie.
"It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous. It's true they got engaged... and it's absolutely lovely," Debbie says. "Perrie loves him to pieces and it's perfect. They get on so well together and understand each other. It's just fabulous."
The couple met on the set go Great Britain's The X Factor in December 2011, where Perrie and her group were finalists.
They started dating a few months later and we now send the soon-to-be-newlyweds our best.
