Sorry for false news. Shakira is not performing in Nepal. According to Annapurna Post Shakira was to perform in Tudikhel and it claimed that the news was confirmed by Shimant Gurung. But according to CEO of ODC Network, Suresh Jung Rayamajhi has said that ODC Network are not bringing Shakira. He added Mr Shimant is no longer part of ODC Network.

Sorry for false news. Shakira is not performing in Nepal. According to Annapurna Post Shakira was to perform in Tudikhel and it claimed that the news was confirmed by Shimant Gurung. "Waka Waka" and "Hips Don't lie" singer Shakira is coming to Nepal in Coming September.
According to source she will perform here in Tudikhel during her Asia Tour and date is said to be 7th Ashoj 2069 which will be 23rd Septembet 2012 Sunday. But there is no details about her concert to Nepal in Shakira's website.
But Shimant Gurung of ODC network told it is confirmed and a contract has been made already. ODC network brought Bryan Adams and MLTR to Nepal.
Yes this might be the third Concert by internationally recognized artist in Nepal.
