After guest starring on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", Justin Bieber will expand his career on small screen by hosting "Saturday Night Live", according to Alec Baldwin. During a Monday, January 30 broadcast of his WNYC podcast "Here's the Thing", the George Ellerby of "The Departed" revealed that the "Never Say Never" hitmaker is set to host the NBC variety show.
While absolutely nothing has been confirmed, the news was possibly leaked by 16-time host Alec Baldwin during an interview he conducted with “SNL” boss Lorne Michaels for his Here’s The Thing podcast.
A source close to the show tells Gossip Cop, “There’s no word on Justin Bieber yet.” Bieber has never hosted, although he did serve as the musical guest for Tina Fey’s 2010 hosting turn. The next two “SNL” broadcasts will be hosted by Zooey Deschanel (February 4) and Channing Tatum (February 11).
