Blue Ivy Carter wasn't the first baby inside Beyonce's belly.
According to her husband, Jay-Z and his new song, "Glory," Beyonce, 30, had a miscarriage long before the couple proudly announced their pregnancy last August.
"False alarms and false starts / All made better by the sound of your heart . . . Last time the miscarriage was so tragic / We was afraid you'd disappear / But nah, baby you magic," Jay-Z raps on the track, which was released on Monday.
In the song, Jay-Z, 42, also reveals where baby Blue was conceived.

"Daddy's little girl / You don't yet know what swag is / But you was made in Paris / And mama woke up the next day / And shot her album package," according to the rapper.
"The most amazing feeling I feel, words can't describe what I'm feeling for real / Baby I'll paint the sky Blue / My greatest creation was you," the proud papa continues, adding that Blue is "a pinch of Hov" and "a whole glass of B."
"In honor of the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy Carter, new father JAY-Z has released the track 'GLORY' featuring B.I.C.," Jay-Z's music and entertainment company Roc Nation posted on its Web site, along with a photo of the Empire State Building in blue lights.
Since the release of "Glory" on Monday afternoon, Twitter feeds have been exploding with the hashtag #Glory and reaction from fans.
"Just heard the new jay z song #glory and loved it! Brought me to tears bc I can relate," wrote one fan.
"#Glory is trending. It's such a good song. Men who never had fathers growing up always make the best dads. #Fact," wrote another.
Blue Ivy is the first child for Beyonce and Jay-Z, who have been married since 2008.
Over the weekend, friends of the famous couple welcomed the newest celebrity baby with messages via Twitter.
